Battlefield Heroes’ user interface and controls have been simplified for ease of use.

Launching the game

Battlefield Heroes will be launched through an internet browser from the Official Battlefield Heroes website.

Controls

Controls in Battlefield Heroes are similar to FPS games with WSAD to move and numerical keys to use special abilities and switch weapons.

Pressing ‘Q’ launches a 3 by 3 grid with facial expressions for basic communication.

Although gamers can crouch, “dolphin diving” or laying prone has been eliminated.

User interface

The Battlefield Heroes user interface gives basic info about your character and controls.

The icons at the bottom display your equipped weapons as well as special abilities. These icons are paired with a number for easy access.

Blue Cross at the bottom left indicates health.

Bullet indicates your ammo.

Basic information about your hero is displayed the top left.

Conquest mode flag info is displayed at the top center.

No mini-map. There will not be a mini map unlike other Battlefield games, perhaps due to the smaller maps.
