Thank you for visiting this thread. since this is a big and long and tireing task to do. I will start a new thread to keep you guys posted on the site update. The update will make the site look for smexy but also it will be a huge learning curve for me because ive never done such a big project !

We are also requiring graphics designers (can't do graphics for crap)so please pm me with more info if you wish to fill that position for the site .

I can see that. Lol.

Anyway, think I'll leave this to Falcon. The background picture makes a lot of difference though. If Falcon wants to keep his functionality of the old website, maybe we can add the yellow background you used for the newsfeed, and add that background picture with the two gunners under everything else. That would boost the image of the website, because first appearances do matter (well, at least to me, especially if I'm tired and too cranky to search deeper into the heart).

I see that your strength is in coding while I am more adept at graphics. I can make a new web design based on the background and other graphics you made so far and maybe you can integrate this with your code?

If we do decide to go down this path, how secure do you think your code is? I currently use WordPress not only for all its features but also for the quality of the code and their ability to patch up any security issues quickly.

Also, how would we port the current website and it's content to the new site?

Thanks for putting in so much work in this - all the features sound very impressive - even though I haven't really agreed to anything yet lol.

lol, you still didn't answer my other questions though. I believe WordPress is a fantastic CMS, it's secure and loaded with features that I have yet to add to ieatgrenades. Plus I can always update the current webdesign as well.

Even if I do decide to go with your site, I won't be able to make the design in a while since I have final exams right now.

Well it uses CuteNews UTF-8 as a news CMS. the site just contains little bits and pieces of the news etc.

(plus bfhq.com uses xhtml and not a cms script)
