Executive producer Ben Cousins spoke with videogame247 about the future of Battlefield Heroes if it did not make any profits.

Although it was not up to him to make the decision, Cousins stated that he would personally keep the game running as long as it breaks even (when there is neither a loss nor a gain).

He mentioned that Heroes will help to draw more attention to the Battlefield franchise, essentially as a “marketing tool.” Cousins also suggested that a loss may be very unlikely, referring to the positive slope of their Google Trends.
